Materials
18oz waxed cotton canvas with a vegetable-tanned leather base, solid brass hardware, cotton webbing strap. The wax is a paraffin and beeswax blend that can be reproofed at home with a tin and a hairdryer.
Care
Brush dirt off dry. Never machine wash — it strips the wax. Reproof when water stops beading, usually every second year, with any canvas wax and gentle heat. The leather takes a neutral balm once a year.
